We worked with the University College and organixed an amazing Archaeology Festival this year. Despite the fact it rained most of the day we had over 400 people attend. We organised tours of the excavation, finds identificatoin (PAS), mosaic making, digging pit, metal detecting, Roman cooking, conservation demonstrations,re-enactors and plenty of other activities. The hot pork and beef rolls and ice-creams were also very popular!!
